First-Fill Prescription

Veterans Administration Medical Centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinics

The first-fill prescription service was initially created as a method to allow military veterans treated at Veteran Administration Medical Centers (VAMC) and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) a distribution channel where they could receive their initial medication until the system creates their profiles.  This typically takes approximately10 days.  As a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that has been established in healthcare for nearly than 10 years, we must provide our assistance and support to ensure that the veterans get their medication in a timely manner.

UNYTER has been providing health care delivery and management, pharmacy fulfillment and management, medical cost containment and wholesale pharmaceutical services to federal, state, county and local municipalities in the united states.  There are more than one million military veterans that are eligible to receive first-fill prescriptions coming from more than 700 VA medical clinics and outpatient clinics across the country.

Our national network of more than 50,000 pharmacies comprised of major chain and local independents are available with a fully trained staff to ensure the medication is dispensed to the veteran.

The breadth at which we implement the services in our role as the contractor is comprised of formulary management, real-time claim adjudication, real-time patient enrollment, customary government discounts on branded and generic drugs, the ability to have a location live and on line in seven business days.
